TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE
- SKS Hospital and Post graduate Research Institute is a 225 bedded multi specialty tertiary
referral centre situated in Salem,India. The Department of Anaesthesiology & Critical Care js the
backbone of the institute catering to variety of demands from all the facilities and departments. As
part of my post graduate training, I have been traincd in providing anaesthesia for patients
presenting for elective and emergency surgical interventions from various surgical specialties
(General surgery, Obstetrics, & Gynacecology, ENT, Orthopaedics and spine surgery) & Super
specialities ( Neurosurgery, Plastic surgery, Urology, Paediatric surgery, Surgical gastro
enterology and Surgical oncology) under constant supervision of senior consultants who used to
1ake utmost effort and care to make good judgements, quick decisions and skills necded to manage
these wide variety of patients posing vaious challenges. The programme has also provided me
raining in administering anaesthesia for Day care surgery, Paediatric endoscopies, and
Radiological interventions and Modified electro convulsive therapy. Further I was a part of the
Intensive care team serving the critically ill patients in the ICU catering to critically sick patients
referred from various disciplines. This has provided me experience in resuscitating and managing
such patients. - In November 2023, Ijoined as a registrar in Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Madurai which
is 750 bedded multispecality hospital in south with upscale equipments.
