- Dr. Lesinkumar is a Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Kamatchi Hospital, Thanjavur, with a dedicated career focused on oncology. He completed his MBBS at IRT Perundurai Medical College (Government Erode Medical College) from 2008 to 2014, followed by a DNB in General Surgery at Southern Railways Headquarters Hospital, Chennai, from 2015 to 2017. Driven by a passion for cancer treatment, Dr. Lesinkumar specialized in Oncology, serving as a Registrar in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Guru Cancer Hospital, Madurai, until 2020.
- He further advanced his expertise with a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery at Guru Hospital, Madurai, affiliated with TN MGR Medical University. His dedication and hard work led to him clearing the NEET SS exam with an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 39, earning him a position in the MCh Surgical Oncology program at the prestigious Cancer Institute in Adayar, Chennai (2021-2023).
- Throughout his career, Dr. Lesinkumar has presented papers at renowned conferences such as NATCON and the Indian Cancer Congress, and received the Best Video Presentation Award at MASO in 2023. He also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Adayar Cancer Institute until February 2025. His areas of special interest include breast oncoplasty, laparoscopic surgeries, head and neck surgeries, and gynecological surgeries. Dr. Lesinkumar is committed to providing advanced and compassionate care to his patients, staying at the forefront of cancer treatment and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
